About Me

I am a Mum of 3 grown kids who are the most amazing people on the planet.  My partner is my rock, my adventure partner and my yarn detangler lol. They not only encourage my craft they enable my yarn addiction also.  I started to crochet in 2016 because I thought it would be something fun to learn.  Little did I know that once you become a crocheter, you are hooked for life!  Crochet has become my stress reliever and my sanity restorer.  I never thought back then that I would be where I am today.

You can never make enough things for family, who else would willingly be your guinea pig lol.  You can never have too many patterns and you turn into a yarn hoarder, believe me, it’s true.  You can never have enough squishies, aka yarn, blues and greens and yellows and pinks and the list will go on forever lol.

I remember when I started a little crochet group in Canada at a local library.  I would go every week and sit there most times by myself and hope someone would hear about it and come join me.  I had one girl who came with me when she could but some weeks I thought, this isn’t going to work.  Then one day a couple of ladies showed up, then a couple more and before I knew it there were 15 of us sitting around stitchin’ and bitchin’ lol.  I moved to Northern Ireland in 2020 and sadly had to leave them all behind.  They are an amazing bunch of ladies and they still meet together to this day and I am glad to call them friends.
